Sept 14th - Politics: Vietnam, South Africa Seek for Closer Legislative Ties

The National Assemblies (NA) of Vietnam and South Africa should enhance further the exchange of delegations as well as share experiences in legislative work in the future, a Vietnamese legislator said Sept. 12 in Pretoria.

Head of the Vietnamese NA’s Law Committee Nguyen Van Thuan made the statement while meeting with Deputy Speaker of South African NA, Hon N Mfeketo, on his eight-day visit to the country.

Both host and guest expressed their belief the effective cooperation between legislative agencies will facilitate the two nations’ relations.

While in South Africa, the Vietnamese NA delegation also worked with the Ministry of Justice and other legislative agencies of South Africa.
